TURKEY AND CHICKEN Meatballs
I have been making these for years. They are so delicious!
3 containers of: Chicken and/or turkey
1/4 cup coconut flour
2 tsps of oregano
2 tsps of cumin
2 tsps of paprika
2 tsps rosemary
1 tsp chipotle flakes ( optional)
1 tsp Mustard Powder ( i use Keen’s)
1 onion finely chopped
3 garlic cloves finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup olive oil
Tomato sauce – Optional sundried tomatoes – finely chopped
2 containers of mozzarella – shredded
Optional – Fresh basil leaves
Mix all ingredients in a stand mixer
Form golf ball sized meatballs and fry up in a large frying pan with drizzled olive oil
Flip over once
Once browned, transfer to a glass baking dish and throw it in the oven for 20 minutes on 400 degrees.
While the meatballs are cooking, heat up Tomato sauce. I sometimes add minced sundried tomatoes, garlic and extra oregano to the tomato sauce.
Remove glass dish. Pour on tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella.
Throw it in the Oven for 10 minutes or until bubbling!
Drizzle basil leaves on top, if you like.
