Paleo Peach Apple Crumble – Marta Blaze

I love apple crumble!  I know the non
paleo version, although abso
lutely delicious is not the most forgiving on the
waist line.

I wanted to do an
apple crumble that the kids could have for breakfast.  After some research, I found this to be the
easiest way. Though some of the online recipes, tend to over complicate



3 to 4 Apples

  • 3 to 4
  • ( you can use
    other fruit as well: I have used Apples/blueberries/pears for example)
  • ½ cup
    honey  ( for those who aren’t strict
    paleo you can also use Coconut Sugar)
  • 2 tsps.
  • 1 lime – juiced

For the crumble:

  • Different
    types of nuts
  • ½ to ¾  cup Pecans
  • ½ to ¾  cup Almonds
  • ½ to ¾  cup Pumpkin seeds
  • (You can also
    add: Hazelnuts, Sunflower seeds , flaked Coconut)
  • 1 tsp
  • ½ cup Coconut
  1.  Preheat oven to 375 – *Note (I use a 9 by
    13 glass dish.)
  2.  Peel and chop 4
    apples. Chop 3 to 4 peaches.
  3.  Mix in the glass dish with lime juice, about 2
    teaspoons of cinnamon and half of the honey.
  4.  Bake for 10 minutes
  5. While the fruits are baking:
    Chop pecans, almonds and pumpkin seeds with the remainder of honey, 1
    teaspoon of cinnamon and about ½ cup of coconut oil.
  6.  Remove dish from
    over and spread the “crumble” on top making sure all the apple/peach mixture is
  7.  Bake
    for another 30 minutes.
