Black Olive Tapenade

I LOVE Black olive tapenade, but I find the store bought stuff in a jar disgusting.

My ex-sister in law had a recipe that I've modified a bit, and it's awesome!

Serve with veggies, rice crackers or if you are not paleo, baguette… Delicious!

2 cans of colossal pitted black olives – drained and rinsed

3 garlic cloves – or more if you want it to be super garlicky!

1/2 - 3/4  cup pine nuts

1/4 cup olive oil – more if it's too dry-ish

2 tablespoons capers

handful of  fresh parsley

throw everything in your food processor and Voila!  it's tastes best if you make it ahead and refrigerate for an hour or so.
